Why Salt Dog Cycling?

One of the questions we often get asked is where did we get the name?

Salt Dog Cycling is about getting out there on your bike in the fresh air and enjoying yourself whether it be on a road bike, commuter bike, mountain bike or cycle touring.

Salt (In the fresh air)

Dog (Getting out there, always chasing and giving a good friendly service)

Cycling (It’s what we do…)

"Salt Dog" is also Richard Sault nickname (founder)
