By visiting the Salt Dog Cycling website you accept, and agree to, the content of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time and it is your responsibility to check regularly before ordering. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Site usage
Salt Dog Cycling disclaims damages of any kind, compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties implied or otherwise relating to use of this site.
Terms of Sale
By placing an order you are offering to purchase the product(s) subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Despatch times may occasionally vary and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK.
In order to purchase from Salt Dog Cycling you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit / debit card or Amazon account. When your order is accepted we will inform you by email. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.
Availability and Estimated Delivery Times
We do our best to ensure availability of all advertised products and endeavour to despatch all parts within the quoted time. If there is a delay we will inform you of this via email and the product will be despatched as soon as they become available. If you have ordered multiple items they may arrive separately.
Salt Dog Cycling has no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. We will do our best to get all orders sent out as quickly as possible. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time, just contact info@saltdogcycling.com with your order number.
Occasionally we find ourselves having to withdraw an item because it has become obsolete or unavailable. If you have placed an order for an item that has been made obsolete or unavailable we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you a refund or an alternative product if one is available.
We reserve the right to withdraw any orders that we feel are suspicious or possibly fraudulent which include orders to mailbox, PO Box addresses or hotels. These will be cancelled and refunded and we will inform you via email.
Customs and Import duty
From 1st January 2021, orders from EU countries will be subject to import duty.
Please note: You may be contacted by our courier partners, DPD or Fedex and then asked to pay charges for the parcel to be delivered.
If a duty payment is requested, you will need to pay the charge to release your parcel.
We will not be liable for any customs, duty and VAT Charges applied once the goods reach your destination country outside of the UK. If you refuse delivery and the goods do not get returned to us you will forfeit your refund.
Product Specifications and Suitability
Published product details, specifications and suitability information is the best available at the time. Salt Dog Cycling shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of any part(s) required for the repair of an item. If you have ordered an item that has an unsuitable product description we will remedy this by providing you a full refund upon the return of the item. Please see our Returns page for details.
We encourage you to ensure all spare parts are fitted by a competent person in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Salt Dog Cycling cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of a spare part.
Please ensure that you have read your warranty conditions before attempting to install a part or otherwise repair item. Salt Dog Cycling cannot be held responsible if the item is damaged or your warranty is voided. Some manufacturer guarantees may be on condition that you use a qualified cycle technician.
Payment
Payment over the Internet can be made via our secure check out pages using Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, American Express, Switch / Maestro UK. Card charges will appear on your statement as "SALTDOG".
If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be required to pay import duties and taxes when your Salt Dog Cycling order reaches your country. These and any additional charges for customs clearance are your responsibility.
Due to the nature of the clearing system your credit card payment will be taken at the point of processing. If a problem in supply should occur, your payment method will be refunded as swiftly as possible. The refund may take a couple of days to show as cleared funds on your account, depending on payment provider.

We take online security extremely seriously and have taken rigorous precautions to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially and accurately.
We don't hold sensitive payment details about our customers.
We work with market leading online payment provider Stripe to process your payments securely. For all orders placed on this website, card data is collected directly from you by Stripe and never stored by us.
Please be aware that in the interests of credit card security you may be contacted prior to the dispatch of your order with a request for additional information.

When you make an online order, we need to know your name, email address, credit card billing address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and associated details. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you about your order status.
