CX/TX Competition Last – With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence riding and higher pressure, our Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last. The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel and a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedalling pressures.

Outsole: Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fibre Sole. Available in 3 hole cleat pattern. A 100% carbon fibre sole that creates a comfortable, lightweight and classy package

Upper: Fullgrain Water Resistant Ecco Premium leather and mesh with hook lycra & Outlast heel lining. The leather upper is sleek, has minimized stitching and is form fitting giving you a glove like feel that over time makes a perfect match to your foot like nothing else. Helcor heel panel and rubber toe bumper helps protect the upper from scuffs and scratched. Outlast temperature regulating heel and tongue lining offers a luxurious foot feel, while maintaining a breathable, durable & firm grip to your foot.

Closure: Dual Side mounted Push/Pull IP1-S BOA® lacing system with releasable lace guides. The closure system utilizes dual BOA’s for even more adjust-ability.

Lake CX237 have now been upgraded to the Lake CX238 Road Shoes.

• There is a rubber toe pad at the front which stopping scuffing at the front (So they will last a bit longer)
• Heel has a gripper fabric that locks the heel in place better.
• The Leather is a Ecco leather which has better weather and water resistance. (www.eccoleather.com)
• The gap between the laces is a bit wider, so it's got more range and will now fit low volume wide feet better
