Hello. Do you have half sizes in the CX177? I am between 45 and 46 but perhaps 45.5 would be right. Jay.

Hi Jay, Thanks for the message. The CX177s only come in full sizes, but the Lake CX219, which uses the same upper and fits exactly the same, come in half sizes. The CX177 have a thicker Nylon sole to create the same stiffness, and the CX219 uses a thinner carbon sole. How did you measure your feet? The way Lake describes drawing around your feet isn't very accurate. There is a tool on our website that shows the best method to measure your feet accurately and then gives the closest match in length, width, and model. https://lakeshoefit.saltdogcycling.com/ The tool is designed for a close fit, so if you like a bit more toe wiggle room, we recommend going up half a size. Is this shoe compatible with a Peloton bike with delta clips? I have a 10W women's shoe and the Peloton shoe's won't hardly buckle. Thanks.

Hi, Thanks for the message. Yes all the Lake Road Shoes are compatible with the Peloton, Look Delta Cleats. We have a tool on the website here https://lakeshoefit.saltdogcycling.com/ to help calculate your Size Width and Model to your dimensions. Lake use different Lasts (shoe moulds) for different shaped feet and needs. Many thanks Richard

Lake CX 177 wide fit, size 44

Thought I'd put a few miles on these before reviewing! Great shoe, really comfortable compared to my previous standard narrow fit. I know my foot size is a 9 but I went for the 44 here, my feet being wide and to allow for a second pair of socks in winter. As feedback from many others I can confirm Richard is fantastic and a great help to get you the right shoes. Ring him up, nothing is too much trouble, and he will definitely help.

Most comfortable road shoes I’ve had

Have previously used NorthWave road shoes, as they are wider fitting. However, followed the feet measuring instructions and pick a pair of Lakes that best fit my size. They have been very comfortable to wear, well padded. Vented to stop your feet getting too hot. I’d definitely recommend Lake shoes

Super comfortable

I have very wide feet and these are amazing and so comfortable. Took a chance and did a 110km ride with them without breaking them in and had no issues or sore feet / toes. Could be a bit stiffer but good trade off for comfort.
