The Lake Carbon Fiber Mouldable Insoles

Capture Your Natural Foot Shape

Fitting

Raven Insoles composite foot cradle is designed to be reshaped to your foot. The heel cup of the cradle has small slits made around the upper radius to allow the cup to expand for larger sized feet. These slits may or may not be visible after moulding.

Raven Insoles are compatible with most cycling shoes.

For the best fitting result, place your current insole on top of the Raven insole and trace the forefoot shape with a marker. Trim away the excess forefoot foam. It is often better to cut less away and check the fitting of the insole inside the shoe, if the insole wrinkles or fits too tightly, trim away more excess material from the forefoot.

Hi, do these help improve heel retention over the standard insoles? I have a pair of 238 wides and find my heel slips about alot. thanks

Yeah they do….. how much…..mmmm, I’d say if you’re worried about it it’s more down to shoe design

The insoles have a kind of heel guide, but I would doubt that this prevents slipping back and forth. I rather suspect that the 238 on the heel is too far.

Haven’t noticed tbh. Mine are not in a pair of lake shoes much better than the giro insoles - nice and stiff.

Hi, I have a pair of LAKE CX332 WIDE FIT and am considering getting these insoles. I don't have a lot of excess room in the toe box and wondered how the depth of these compare to the standard insoles? Thanks

If by depth you mean thickness? If so, they are the same thickness as the regular lake insoles so won’t take up any additional shoe volume.

Lake carbon insoles

I bought these for m y son as a Christmas gift. He always uses them and as he does serious cycling every day I imagine they must be very good

Good quality but could not make perfect fit

Tried 2 times making these lovely soles fit, but could not get them to flex enough. I have high arches, maybe that's why. So in my case I returned to my physiologist which handcraft SuperSoles to my foot, which is the best for me. The quality of these Lake are very nice, so if they fit you, they will be great.

Speedy Deliver and better than out the box insoles

No hesitation about buying from Salt Dog again. Delivered in less than 24hours! Bought these for a pair of Giro shoes as Giro's upgrade is out of stock. They fit. They are pretty comfy although I've not given them a proper workout yet. Not sure that the heat remoulding that I did changed them much.
